Generous children at a Harrogate school donned their favourite Disney costumes and raised over £730 for a local charity.
Pupils at Ashville Prep School organised a special Disney Day to help support the Living Potential Care Farm in Wetherby.
They dressed up as characters for the day and rounded the fun off with a special screening of their favourite film in the school’s magnificent auditorium complete with popcorn.
Year 6 teacher Mrs Louise Wells, who run’s the Prep school’s Charity Club, praised the support from pupils and parents as "phenomenal."
She said:
“Not only did we have as wonderful day of fun, but the children also wanted to do their best to support the charity.
“The charity came to one of our school’s assemblies and explained what they do to help people from all walks of life, of all ages and abilities.
"It was an inspirational talk about the important impact of working with animals and nature."

The pupil-led charity club has raised over £6,000 in just over two years to support good causes locally.
The school donated hundreds of items to the Harrogate Food Bank at their recent Harvest Festival.
A spokeswoman for Living Potential Care Farm said:
“We are so grateful that pupils at Ashville Prep chose to support us.
“This money will help us to buy equipment that is adapted so that everyone can be involved in all activities.
"This is so important because, as we showed in assembly, it really doesn't make us feel good if we are left out or made to feel different.”
