Specsavers on Beulah Street in Harrogate has announced its sponsorship of Henshaw’s BedFest 2025 for the third year running.
Bedfest will take place on 14th June, noon till late and will be held near the Henshaw Art and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough.
It will feature an exciting variety of live music from local artists, alongside a selection of local street food and a licensed bar.
Andy Bryer, retail director at Specsavers Harrogate, which is locally owned and run, adds:
"We’re excited to be sponsoring BedFest for our third consecutive year.
"It’s a vibrant event highlighting our community's creativity and brings everyone together for a day of fun.
"Our whole team is proud to support Henshaws in their mission to empower individuals with disabilities.
"Their inspiring team positively impacts lives in and around Harrogate, and it’s fantastic that donations go back into helping the community.
"If you haven’t attended yet, it’s an event you won’t want to miss!"
Tickets start at £6 and the money raised from the festival will go towards Henshaws’ dedicated work supporting visually impaired individuals, alongside those with other disabilities, which will provide them and their loved ones with the advice and assistance they need to continue to create a bright and positive future beyond their disabilities.
Flora Simpson, fundraising development manager at Henshaws, says:
"Bed Fest is a brilliant celebration of community spirit and one of the most important fundraisers in our calendar; we’re incredibly grateful to welcome Specsavers Harrogate as our lead sponsor for another year.
"Taking place during the iconic Knaresborough Bed Race, it’s a day where the town comes alive: wacky, wonderful and full of heart.
"We love opening our doors and welcoming people into our little haven as it’s a chance for the public to experience the magic of Henshaws, to see the incredible work we do, and to connect with a cause that changes lives.
"Without the continued support from Specsavers, this event simply wouldn’t be possible".
