James Rycroft, Managing Director of specialist dementia care provider Vida Healthcare, has been presented with the Chief Nurse Gold Award.
The NHS England award is a prestigious honour in healthcare, recognising “outstanding” achievements and performance by nurses and midwives in the industry.
It acknowledges their “exceptional” contributions to clinical practice, education, research, or leadership.
James was presented with the award by Debra Sturdy, Chief Nursing Officer for Adult Social Care, on Thursday 27th February.
According to the Department of Health & Social Care, the Gold Award highlights the diverse skills, expertise, and enduring compassion that define modern nursing and social care.
James said:
“I’m truly delighted to receive this prestigious award.
“I know so many incredible individuals who have made outstanding contributions, so to be recognised in this way is truly humbling and very special.”
