Nine new homes are set to be built in Harrogate after Newett Homes acquired land to extend its sold-out The Pastures development.
The Yorkshire housebuilder has purchased a 1.5-acre plot on Otley Road, where it plans to build a boutique development of nine energy-efficient homes.
The £5 million scheme will feature a mix of three, four and five-bedroom properties on the south-west edge of the town.
All homes will include solar panels and electric vehicle charging points as standard, while the developer will also contribute £65,000 towards community and local infrastructure as part of its planning obligations.

Construction on the new phase is now underway, with the first homes already released for sale off-plan through William H Brown.
The first residents are expected to move into the development from February 2027, with the scheme due to be completed in May 2027.
