Bus passengers across Harrogate and the surrounding area are being advised to check before they travel, with timetable changes coming into effect next month.
The Harrogate Bus Company has announced a series of service updates from 19th July, aimed at 'improving reliability' and better matching current travel demand.
Several routes will see changes, including the popular 36 service linking Harrogate with Leeds and Ripon, as well as the 1 service to Knaresborough and the 2 service serving Bilton.
Passengers travelling to and from Pannal Ash and Beckwith Knowle will notice a reduced off-peak frequency, with buses operating every 40 minutes. During busy periods, services will continue to run every 20 minutes.
Changes are also planned for the number 4 route between Harrogate and King Edwin Park. The service is currently supported through funding provided by the developer of the housing development via North Yorkshire Council.

However, The Harrogate Bus Company says that funding is expected to end within the coming months and, with current passenger numbers, the route will move to a two-hourly timetable.
The operator says the change is intended to help secure the service's future and improve its long-term viability.
The revised route will also serve Burley Bank Road, including Pinemoor Caravan Park and Harrogate West Business Park.
Meanwhile, passengers using the 21 service between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge are being told to expect changes too, with faster journeys set to operate via Staveley.
Anyone planning to travel after 19th July is encouraged to check the latest timetable information before setting off.
