Harrogate BID have announced that the Harrogate Music Weekender will return to town centre venues in October.
The three-day music event, set to be held from October 11th-13th, will not only showcase Harrogate’s hospitality offer, but also drive footfall into the town with the aim of increasing spend in local businesses.
The Music Weekender will see a series of live performances, DJ sets, street entertainers and special offers around Harrogate – and guests can expect some new additions from last year.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, said:
“We’re so excited for the Music Weekender fun to return to our town!
“It proved to be a huge hit last year, with really positive feedback coming from local businesses, residents and visitors.
“It’s a fantastic way of highlighting our town’s excellent hospitality and night-time economy offer – and we can’t wait to share what we’ve got coming up this year!
“We’re bringing the event back bigger and better this year, so watch this space for further releases soon…”
A first drop-in session was held last week for local business and venue owners to attend to find out more information, with a second to be held from 4pm on Thursday, September 5th at The Den on Cambridge Road.
The BID is also providing match-funding to venues introducing a new or additional event or service to its usual offering during the Music Weekender.
Further details on this year’s Harrogate Music Weekender will be released over the coming weeks.
If you require any more information, or would like to attend the second drop-in session, please email the Harrogate BID team on info@harrogatebid.co.uk
