Hampsthwaite Players have announced they will be bringing 60's classic 'Dad's Army' to the stage next month.
Following their hugely successful production of Treasure Island in November, Hampsthwaite Players will be performing a pantomime of Dad’s Army to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The show will be held at Memorial Hall in Hampsthwaite from 27th until 29th March, with performances at both 2pm and 7:45pm.
A spokesperson for the group said:
“We are going to decorating the Hall up for the play nights, black out windows, air raid sirens and are encouraging the audience to dress up in 1940's outfits!
“We will be acting out three different plays on each night, with scripts inspired by the TV shows.”
Rehearsals are currently underway ahead of opening night on 27th March.
Tickets are now available from Sophie’s Corner Shop or online at: www.ticketsource.co.uk/thehampsthwaiteplayers
