The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt is coming back to the town this Easter, organised by Laura Dudley from Painting Pots.

Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt set to return for seventh year The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt is set to return for a seventh year this Easter. The event, organised by Laura Dudley at Painting Pots Knaresborough, sees children hunt for ceramic bunnies hidden around the town. It has raised more than £12,000 for local charities since it was created and this year is supporting Harrogate young carers, Resurrected Bites and Mamas Matter CIC. The bunnies are hand painted in designs, patterns, and inspired by characters and recognisable personalities and products. Bunny hunters use the map to find the bunnies, fill in their form and hand them back in to receive a sweet treat, a sticker and entry to a daily prize draw. Organiser Laura Dudley said:

“The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt gives the whole community a cheap activity that they can last all day, outside in the fresh air getting exercise! "Businesses and Knaresborough as a whole receive increased footfall and marketing, local charities receive funds and advertising... It’s an event that benefits all involved."

This year there will be free (donations welcome) crafting activities at the ‘Bunny Headquarters’ located at the pop-up shop, as well as goodies to buy and photo opportunities. Once again the bunnies will be up for auction at the end of the hunt in an attempt to raise more money for this years charities.
