Ripon’s Christmas lights switch-on will return next month with an afternoon of free family entertainment.
The event, organised by Ripon City Council, will take place in Market Square on Saturday 14th November, from 1pm until 6pm.
The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm.
Visitors can enjoy live music, traditional fairground rides, Santa’s grotto, face painting and magic shows.
A snow globe, polar bear and The Grinch are also included in the festive line-up, alongside Grinch candyfloss. All activities are free.
The Market Place will be closed to car parking for the event. However, Blue Badge holders will be able to park nearby to allow for easier access.
