Rudfarlington Farm has officially signalled the start of the festive season after switching on its big Christmas tree on Wetherby Road.
The towering tree, which has become a familiar seasonal sight for drivers heading into Harrogate, was illuminated on Friday (21st November), marking the farm’s traditional countdown to Christmas.
The switch-on also coincides with the opening of the farm’s annual Christmas tree sales and its popular “Christmas Barn”.
We went along to check it out:
Located opposite The Kestrel pub, Rudfarlington Farm has built a local reputation for its range of real Christmas trees, including Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce and Fraser Fir.
The Christmas Barn is now open seven days a week, offering decorations and accessories for those looking to prepare early.
Visitors can drop in to browse or collect trees, with delivery available for those who prefer the farm to bring Christmas directly to their door.
