Bus service from town centre to Harlow Carr to return permanently A bus service running from Harrogate town centre to RHS Garden Harlow Carr is set to be become a permanent fixture. Operated by The Harrogate Bus Company, the X6 electric express service ran throughout the summer last year. And it’s set to return on Saturday 23rd March for the start of the Easter holidays - continuing indefinitely. The service will run at 30-minute intervals during the holidays before becoming more regular thereafter, running every 20 minutes. And as with last year, those who use the service will also get a 30% discount on entrance to RHS Harlow Carr. Liz Thwaite, Head of site at RHS Harlow Carr, told Your Harrogate:
“We’re delighted to say that the service will be reinstated for the Easter holidays and beyond. It’s fabulous because it means people can get here far more easily, you get a reduced fee and you’re doing something good for the environment! We’re really excited about it and we hope lots of customers use it."Speaking about the launch of the service last year, The Harrogate Bus Company’s General Manager Steve Ottley said:
“We want to make travelling to the amazing Harlow Carr Gardens as easy and swift as possible. “Our friendly team will be on hand at Harrogate bus station to help with any queries, while our fast and smooth electric buses will help us clear the air for everyone enjoying a car free, carefree day out at Harlow Carr.”Full details for the X6 Harlow Carr Gardens express journeys will be available in due course online and on the free to download Transdev Go mobile app, as well as from the information kiosk at Harrogate Bus Station.
