A body has been discovered in Harrogate's Montpellier Gardens.
Police were called to a report of a woman's body in the gardens on Montpellier Hill at around 6:15am this morning (Monday).
A cordon including screening was put in place to allow the investigation into the circumstances to take place.
A police spokesperson said, at this stage, they do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.
They added:
"Our thoughts at this time are with the woman's family."
