Rossett School in Harrogate has launched a community "auction of promises" to help raise funds for a new minibus.
The school is aiming to raise £15,000 to replace a vehicle used for trips, sports fixtures and enrichment activities.
As part of the fundraiser, the school is inviting families, colleagues and local businesses to contribute to its upcoming 'Auction of Promises', scheduled to take place on 12th June.
Donors are being encouraged to offer services, experiences or prizes that can be auctioned to support the campaign.
Suggested contributions include gardening, dog walking, haircuts, DIY assistance or hosting a dinner party.
Among the pledges already received is a chauffeur-driven journey donated by Milbus Taxi Services, to be driven by Rossett Headteacher Tim Milburn.
Mr Milburn said:
“This is a fantastic way for our community to come together and support something that makes a real difference to our pupils.
“We are really grateful to everyone who has supported our campaign so far, and every contribution will help us ensure children can continue to access opportunities beyond the classroom.”
Anyone interested in donating a promise or supporting the campaign is encouraged to contact the school at office@rs.rklt.co.uk.
