A pupil at Meadowside Primary School in Knaresborough received a special tractor visit yesterday (Monday) as part of Your Harrogate's latest competition.
We teamed up with Tractor Fest at Newby Hall and Ripon Farm Services to give one lucky winner the chance to win a tractor visit for them and their classmates.
It's all part of the buildup to Tractor Fest, which returns to Newby Hall & Gardens on 6th and 7th June.
As part of the prize package, the lucky child will scoop a family ticket and a bundle of tractor goodies.
And after hundreds of nominations, the winner was revealed to be 7-year-old Rafferty from Meadowside Primary.

The youngster joined his classmates on the school field as Your Harrogate presenters Pete Egerton, Ricky Durkin and George Dickson paid them a special visit.
Rafferty’s dad, who came to watch the spectacle, said:
“I think it’s reignited his love of tractors! Rafferty always liked the big wheels and watching them.
"I loved seeing him and all the kids happy.”
Watch the moment here:
Occupying 120 acres, Tractor Fest attracts more than 15,000 visitors annually and features more than 1,500 vintage and modern tractors, stationary engines, commercial vehicles, cars, trucks and motorcycles.
The show returns to Newby Hall and Gardens on 6th and 7th June 2026.
