Knaresborough Council appoints new street ranger

Knaresborough Town Council has announced the appointment of a new Town Ranger.

The council has agreed a 6-month contact with local firm OJW Services for it's Town Ranger service.

As part of the agreement, Ollie Ward and his team will be sprucing up the town, with tasks including weeding, sweeping and other gardening services.

A spokesperson for Knaresborough Town Council said:

“We are really excited to be working with Ollie and his team over the coming months.

“To start with they will be concentrating on improving the Town Centre in preparation for Bed Race and the summer months.

“Look out for Ollie and his team weeding and sweeping this week!”

OJW services is a family-run business based in Knaresborough, providing a full range of gardening services including interior and exterior planting and maintenance throughout the Harrogate district.

The firm offers regular maintenance options from a “fully qualified, passionate, reliable, friendly and professional team”.
