A celebration of Harrogate’s retail sector returns to the town centre in just over two weeks time.
The Harrogate Celebration of Fashion, created by Harrogate BID, aims to highlight the top range of national chains and local independents on offer within the town.
The growing event returns to the Piazza area of the Victoria Shopping Centre on Saturday 17th May – and the previous celebrations have attracted thousands of visitors.
Feedback from BID member businesses and local residents suggests that the fashion event is a top contributor to encouraging people to shop within the town’s business community - in turn leading to an increase in both footfall and spend across the day.

Some of the categories set to feature in the line-up for this year’s event include a summer season range, Harrogate on the high street and more.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, said:
“We can’t wait to deliver this excellent event again for another year, it’s always a popular celebration!
“Not only does it help to shine a light on our town’s amazing retail offer, but evidence shows that it also drives both footfall and spend into our town’s businesses.
“A good number of both nationals and independent businesses have signed up so far, but we’ve still got space for more if you’d like to show off your latest spring and summer ranges or super service.
“We’re also encouraging any volunteers that may be looking to help out with modelling some of the latest styles and fashion accessories to get in touch with us!”
Some of the businesses involved so far this year include Piglet in Bed, Specsavers, Primark, Best Kept Secret, Hoopers, Space Vintage, Karma & Co, Totally Exquisite, Rigby & Peller, Marks and Spencer (M&S) and Whistles.
