A Harrogate-based care firm has raised more than £1,600 for charity after a 26-mile trek.
The team from Radfield Home Care, which provides care at home services across the Harrogate district, walked 25.9 miles in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research last week.
It was part of Yorkshire Cancer Research’s ‘We Walk for Yorkshire’ challenge, which invites people to walk or run whilst helping them raise £100,000 to celebrate its 100th birthday.
The Radfield team set out to raise £800 ahead of the walk on 23rd May - and have so far raised a whopping £1,657.

Yorkshire Cancer Research’s ‘We Walk for Yorkshire’ challenge invites people to get out and walk/run whilst helping them raise £100,000 to celebrate 100 years of research in the region.
A spokesperson for Radfield said:
A few blisters and tired feet but that’s all worth it for the incredible cause!
“What a day, and what a team!
“A huge well done to everyone who took part today, from our amazing walkers to the incredible support crew keeping us hydrated and fuelled with the best snacks.
“We couldn’t have done it without you!”
