Police are appealing for information as they continue to investigate criminal damage to a vehicle parked on Hargrove Road in Harrogate.
The owner of a white Fiesta noticed damage to her vehicle on Monday 21st April.
She found scratches on all panels of her car, which was parked legally on a public road, causing a significant damage.
The vehicle was also dented beyond repair, which has lead to the driver having to write it off.
A police spokesperson said:
“We are asking residents in the area to check their CCTV or ring door footage, and to let us know if they noticed anything suspicious.
“Please email Sylvia.Matla@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help.
“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Sylvia Matla, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
